The rules of o1-outrun was changed in the midle of olympiad. The rules was that peoples used "mame 36.2 or mame 55" now the rules is "mame 36.2 up to mame55" in my opion or begins this games again or close it!!!!. this rules change because one people played with "win 36 finish" no sense this. sorry my english but I'll go out of this games now.

Well, I asked Pete about that in the beginning of the olympiad, and he said it was ok. I canīt help if he has not updated the rules for letting averyone use win36 though.

I had steering problems with mame 55, and I could not find win versions for 36 b2 (Wich I prefer), so I asked him "Why not use mame 36 final?" its ok he said. So I did that.

Anyway, why does it bother you what version you/we use? Itīs the same game, and you are also allowed to use win/mame 36 final. The rules are not changed. Itīs only the mame version that you use...

Another thing I wonder about is that you didnīt say anything about it in the qualifying round.. You were at #marp when I uploaded my score then with the SAME mame version win32 36 Final.

QRS your windows is the "milenium"? or you don't like to use mame's for dos? and the mame 36 final is good for play Outrun? I'll use it I think. I'm testing any mame's for this :)

I mostly use mame32 for Iīm too lazy using the dos version :=) I also have problems getting my Joystick to work under dos, I know how the commands work, but like I said I prefer mame32 :)

I use windows ME.
