Has anyone used the Televid 77 with the Photoadapter? I will be leaving soon on a trip to Antarctica and want something longer than my 400mm 5.6 Telyt and easier to focus than the 500mm mirror lens.

I would assume that the APO version would produce a noticeable improvement over the non-APO, but would be interested in the experience of others.
