Hello everyone,Thought I would let ya'll know that my wife and I are the proud parents of twins. One boy, Andrew Bartley Dominick - 4 lbs. 1 oz. and one girl, Rebekah Rose Dominick - 4 lbs. 10 oz. They were born Sat., Nov. 24 at 10:57 and 10:58 p.m. respectively. My wife had toxemia and the Dr. had to do an emergency C-section. They are 2 months early, but doing great. They are breathing on their own. They will be in the hospital for about 3 to 4 weeks. My wife is home and doing great. It's been rough taking my wife 40 miles to see the babies and deliver milk and then take her home and go another 40 miles to work.

Congrats Bart and "new family!" I was with my DW when she had both our wonderful daughters and I wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world. Kids are the gems in our crown of life, and we all wish you and yours the very best! Have a GREAT (although somewhat busy, I'm sure) holiday season! Give us an update after they're home, will ya?

How wonderful Bart! I can certainly relate... 18+ years ago I had TRIPLETS...and had a 2 yr old at home at the time... ours were very premature, but were healthy, just very small, and came home one at a time within 2-3 weeks afterwards. I remember my (then) two year old daughter Mandy saying to me as I pulled into the hospital parking lot to pick up the third and tiniest daughter Emily.. "So... how many do we have left here?" It cracked me up! I think she thought we were just going to keep coming back every week and pick up more babies! They were overwhelming and TONS of work and expense, but I'm grateful for them and can now say that I survived! That is, I THINK I survived... sometimes I question my sanity ;~) and now there's COLLEGE... yikes! Best of luck with your new family Bart! :)patty Prairie Oak Miniatures http://www.minifarm.com/prairie_oak http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Littlegoats moderator

CONGRATS!!!!!! Your blessing is just beginning. I also have twins girls, 11 years old now, and our life has been an adventure ever since. They too were a little preterm. 35.6 weeks, scary for this Neonatal ICU nurse. I have been taking care of precious babies for 18 years now....God Bless!
