What level of questions should I expect for the Algebra part of the entrance exam? Also, is there somewhere that will tell me all the info I will need to know about the Union like the comparisons between working in the Union and working non-Union, what determines who I work for, insurance policies, extra perks? Thanks.

Algebra: Fairly basic, about a high scholl sophomore level. Info: Call the union hall and ask to speak to one of our organizers. They are current on pay levels for both union and non-union contractors in a given area. You determine who you work for. We offer both health insurance and pension to members. Perks... varies by employer and most likely depends on you, your training, and your experience.
