Here in Upstate NY the temperature has been running about 15 - 20 degrees above normal. We are looking out for a very bad winter when it finally gets here since these things tend to balance out!

been getting some nice rain here in southern California lately. Temps down in the 40s at night which is about as cold as it gets here. I can see quite a bit of snow up on the mountains 30 miles from me. Down here the grass stays green all year round though. This is my 2nd winter here. I enjoy having the snow within a short drive of me but not having to clear it or drive in it around here.

Got almost 4 feet (yes FEET) of snow in my yard here in north Idaho. So far, we have had more snow in the last week or so than we had for most of last winter total! And I've heard that we have another heavy storm coming in on Friday. Nooooooooooooo! I might have to start digging tunnels!
