Time magazine is conducting an on line poll of who should be the cover for their "Person of the Year" issue. The man in the lead right now is George P. Burdell.

George P. Burdell doesn't exist. He is an imaginary student created by students at Georgia Tech back in the day. He registers for classes every semester, is used as a test case when new computer systems are installed and, I think, has his own season tickets for football season.

I guess some computer geeks here at Tech have set up a system to repeatedly vote for him. I find it kind of funny.
