Excel spreadsheet (for farm use)greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Does anyone have a good spreadsheet for farm use in Microsoft Excel format they would share? Or recommend a particular farming software? Thanks!

Somewhere in the threads here I posted that I created our own spreadsheet for goat records. We also recently created from using a model from a website another spreadsheet for farm expenses. If interested I can e-mail.

Also, try this website for their data bases and record sheets. http://www.agr.gov.sk.ca/docs/livestock/sheep/production_and_marketing _information/dairygoat.asp

I haven't used it in about six years not, but Excel was an easy to use program. For your column heads simply use the categories on IRS Form F. At the end of the year you can then just copy totals from this form for your federal taxes.Remember your subscription costs to publications and periodicals which assist you in management of the farm are tax deductible on this form.

Bernice,I'm unable to access the website you listed. After shortening the address you gave, I can get to the Saskatchawan Ag home page, but not sure where to go to from there. Help please. thanks, Charleen
