Any new years resolution out there!greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Happy New Year everybody! My New Years resolution this year is to quit drinking pop and drink more water. Be more self dependant. Extrasize more! Be more active in my childrens activities (something I couldn't do when I was working full time for someone else). And most of all, enjoy like more!

R.H., Sounds like you have some great resolutions! Mine is to find our family some land and to bring our family closer together thru homesteading (depending on each other). Hope all of you have a blessed new year! Lisa B.

Mine is to start saving more money so we can move to the sticks. I hate having close NOSEY neighbors! That and work on getting my quilt book published and sewing more. Have a good new year!!!

My sis announced, at our New Years lunch that she was going to loose weight, her son was quitting smoking, and her hubby to be is stopping smoking (all the time) and drinking (when he plays pool) with the guys. I told them not to bother even coming over for a month! Can you even imagine all the tension in that house :) LOL Vicki

Mine is to create and use routines for morning and evening as a way to be more organized and to be sure all the important stuff gets done before I get distracted. Karen S. _ That was my resolution last year, and I found the flylady list and it has helped in that department. She is the one who has me thinking routines are the solution to time management and household management also.

My resolution is to spend as much time as I can doing the things I love not just spending all my time in drudgery. Happy me makes the world happier.

My resolution is not to make New Year's resolutions. They don't work anyway, and unless your life is a shambles, what's wrong with what you are doing now? OK, I recant. I resolve to change nothing about the way I enjoy my "country-style" life, inspite of the awe and disbelief of others less blessed. GL!
