HAPPY NEW YEAR, MARPERS. Well, the subject is... What´s the more hightest scores noticied in those two games. Here in Brazil, in one arcade shop near of my job, the hi-score on metal slug 3 is 7585900 and in metal x is 5306800. I want to see inps of these games and make challenges with everyone that accept. ( and when this inps could be available to playback perfectly ). bye

I found 6,702,240 on Metal Slug X in the Hisa's xls file with the Gamest's records. But someone had made better since.

The high scores on the file are:

MS1: 3,115,090 MS2: 8,278,630 MSX: 6,707,240 MS3: 10,325,350

although the one I have is rather old. The website is in the gamest thread.

One day, I´ve made a cheat in Metal Slug 3. I´ve recorded the game, saving ALL HOSTAGES. The maximum was 7584900. So, knowing all secrets, secrets hostages, with the metal slug safe in all stages, I´ve made this score. Of course, when I´ll send a record, I won´t cheat. I´ve made just to see if it´s possible take 10 million. For this I don´t believe. How this japanese guy, made 10 million??

I guess leeching is the key :-) I think they're spot before taking the first hostage on some stage where leeching is possible. As for King of Dragons, when I saw 10M, I said it's impossible, but he found the only one spot where leeching is possible.

"IMPOSSIBLE FOR INNUENDO" does not mean "IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE HUMAN BEINGS."
I can not understand why the player like INNUENDO say the possibility of high score."
it is incredibly rash and arrogance act.
I know all those scores are true and possible.and all the tittle does not have endless leeching.

question, Hisa: How do you KNOW that all the scores are true?

Perhaps you could give some details on how these scores are verified. Is a videotaped game required?

Of course, not all games can be leeched, but presumably on all games that can be leeched, the high score has maximum leeching. But that's to be expected on a high score list.

I think Innuendo make some sense of humour when he said it's impossible. Me too, when I see a very hi-score, I said in my mind 'its impossible' then I said 'how he made it ?' I know the frontier for the hi score is higher than expected, and there are always a bigger fish... and innuendo know that because he's a great player who make scores that seem impossible for others. Its only some sort of joke.

It´s this! In some words I´m joking but surprised with this great 10 million on metal slug 3. I´ve searched for months how to get the maximum of points and the maximum making a cheat was 7 million. I´ve made this for curiosity, to training to get the maximum points. Sorry Hisa, for my words, but I have the right to believe or not believe ok? I´m waiting to see the replay here in marp, because I need to see the way to get those points...

When I´ve entered in marp the first and more nice hi-score that I´ve seen was BBH´s RYGAR. I saw 6 million, and I´ve told: "-I don´t believe!". After, I´ve saw his playback and saw the way to get those points. I´ve congratulate him and some friends of mine don´t believe. I need to put the replay to make them shut up.

All I went is see the player make this points, understand Hisa?? No ofense for you, for another colliege or friend of marp. Is this.

When I saw the BBH's score for Rygar. I don't say it's impossible. I said : Yes, my friend David make a better score when he play in arcade :-) But, its nothing because there is a great player in Japan who make 15M !!! I wonder to see the replay.

while we're on the subject of Rygar, let me say this - any time I run into INNUENDO or Alex Weir on #marp, I always end up getting /msg'ed asking if I know anything new about the 9 million+ score that Japanese players supposedly got... sorry guys, I DON'T! I'd like to know how it was done too, but no information has ever come out. Hell, I haven't even played Rygar in like a year it seems. :) Believe me, if I found anything out about it, I'd post about it for sure. Now leave me alone! ;)

For Tenchi,me record of jump over the Death (big guy) is 40 times in round 8 :-)

For BBH, Thanks to Hisa. He said me the truth for these great scores : Jump over the Death over 100 times by stage. It's awesome, the guy who made it leave the stage one with 150 k (300k if he had a ? mark). He had 4-5M at the beginning of stage 17 and leave it with 8-9M. So, it seems there are no hidden stage and no another 1M bonus. Too bad. But, I want to see a play by this man.
