We got out of there just in time. It was flurrie-ing a bit until we got out of GA but then it was sunny and nice all the way up. It's cold here but sunny.AB - where is Hard Lucy playing? I'm so jealous of your TiVo.

They're at the Tea Room on Saturday...I can't wait! It's their first show since November.I think Omar and his boring girlfriend are coming up for it, and maybe Tracy. Should be fun. Or interesting, one.

I'm at home, surrounded on all sides by icy bridges. Chris went in to work at 7:30 this morning, in a navy suit and his hiking boots, no less, because he is crazy. He called me from work and said, "Don't drive - it's way too dangerous," which pissed me off, because we could have had a lovely day at home together if only he wasn't so crazy to drive. Blah blah. I called my office and only one person was there, and she was all, "Yeah, all the bridges here are crazy icy and dangerous, and I wouldn't drive it again if I didn't have to go home - but let me know if you decide to come in and keep me company!" My ass, I say. Driving home from work last night was a little scary, though, especially when I was going uphill and the dolt in front of me STOPPED, uphill, on an icy road, and I needed to pass him on the icy road, going uphill, and Fancy was in first gear and revving to 70 RPM, and the steering wheel was all over the place, but I kept going sraight, but it was a little nerve-wracking all the same.Anyway. I think I might sneak out to hit the Publix (as if they'd actually have anything in stock) as I need mushrooms for dinner tonight and Kroger was all out of mushrooms last night. It's just a matter of which curvy road I want to drive down to get there.
Really, the weather here isn't THAT bad. It's more snow than we've had since the 1993 East Coast blizzard, but it's still only six inches or so. The trouble comes from the state not having the resources to deal with something like this - there are no snowplows in Georgia - and lacking the infrastructure to deal with icy highways. A pain in the ass, I say.

Wah. I think I'm getting sick. That makes me mad. My house is a mess. There's a big pile of Eric's stuff that we couldn't fit into his bags in the middle of my living room. Who wants to bet it'll be there come Sunday evening?
