Have not posted for a while but have a friend who would like to join an Angora Goat club or group that lives in New Mexico, do any of you know of one and could you provide contact details please.

Hi, Jenny! Well, I'm in east-central NM & I have colored & white Angoras. As far as I know, there is no local Angora club, although I'd really like to see one, or at least a generic goat club including all breeds, as we all have similar issues. I'd actually like to see Angoras back at the State Fair, including separate classes for naturally colored ones. As it is now, we only show our fleeces. Jenny, you and Debra could start a club, I have the feeling there are a few dozen farms with Angoras in New Mexico, and your idea, Debra, to have them at the State Fair is a good one. Good luck to both of you. Maureen
