I need source for silicon inflations for goats. Is Caprine supply the only place to get these? I also need new tubing for my milking machine and looking for an inexpensive place to buy it. Thanks

Do you know the brand of milker? The liners have to match the shells is all. Nasco might, but I have a few others if you can get me a brand name and model? For example for sheep we use Alfa Laval TF80 lowline milkers, and rubber inflations (But I'm sure you can get silicone too.)

http://www2.netdoor.com/~pdmuse/ Contact Dween Muse, she makes milking machines, very inexpensively I might add, and also carries all parts. She found my DeLaval bucket I was looking for! Vicki

Try www.partsdeptonline.com But beware if you keep the speaker on your computer very loud, it comes on with the sound of cows bellering. I got my new milking machine from them, and besides being the best price around, they are just super helpful, courteous and friendly. you can order their catalog, and they carry things I never even heard of....they are great! They've called me a few times since I got the machine just to make sure everything was fine--they knew I didn't know anything about milking machines, and have walked me through everything. I can't recommend them high enough. Kathie

Can anyone tell me where I might find a milking machine for a small goat heard and about what I might have to pay for one. Also at what size heard do you think it becomes a profitable investment? Thanks in advance for all help!!!!!!!!!

http://www2.netdoor.com/~pdmuse/Tim unless you find one that needs repairing, or are given one, you aren't going to beat Dweens prices. 500$ approx for a one milker, 500+ for a two. I didn't like the bucket that she sells with hers, photo on web site, so she found me a shinny bright DeLaval that I did want. Very easy to work with, ships Fed EX to your door. With clean up time, I would think that milking anymore than 5 is worth the effort. Vicki

I have a milking machine, tubing and stainless can -- about 8 or 9 gallon. Interpuls -- Asking $500. Shipping, handling costs from Northeast Maine would be additional

I know this thread is dead, but how on earth could you lift and pour an 8 or 9 gallon pail of milk? Mine holds right at 5 gallons, think pouring a 5 gallon bucket of water into something and not wanting to splash or spill, (DeLaval) I couldn't even imagine trying to maneuver 8 or 9 gallons, 64 to 72 pounds! How do you manage? Vicki
