One of my favorite childhood toys were the little people. However Fisher Price does not make that anymore. Does anyone have any fisher price little people either made out of plastic or wood, and / or fisher price little people houses, or items that go with them?

I too recall the FP little people. I cant believe how collectable those things are getting to be. I just saw some little people at an antique show, and the guy wanted $8 each for those things!!!!! He also had a zoo train, (I wanted one soooo bad) in pristine condition, and he was asking $120!!!!!!

I still have my son's fisher price barn, and little town and the schoolhouse. We have all the pieces too. However, they are not for sale, but I am saving them for grandchildren. He is now 17 almost 18. My MIL has some of the real old wooden ones.... SHe has an airport and a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a camper with a boat on top. Go to ebay. They sell all kinds of that stuff on there. I keep my eye out at thrift stores and garage sales for more people and animals. We have quite a farm full of animals now. I occasionally will see a barn or something. Keep looking.

I've bought the barn set and the house set mostly complete at a garage sale this last year, paid two dollars each. They are at the caregiver's house that cares for my three year old while I am working. I didn't realize they were so collectible!

Fisher Price still makes Little People toys. They make all kinds. But they are not exactly the same as the ones I played with as a child. I bought my daughter a Little People farm for Christmas. And she still loves it. They are expensive though so I wouldn't give in on finding some at garage sales.

I thought the old style little people were recalled because they were a choking hazard. I just found your site while doing a search to see if I could find an old recall notice. I vaguely remember seeing a special on 20/20 or some news show like that; where some mothers recounted horrible stories of their children choking on the small toys. Does anyone else remember this?
