I like the black and white, looks like it could have been taken on any old 400asa film........

What's the point of inserting a thread about canon digital photos in a Leica newsgroup? I don't really understand..do you wish to put the emphasis on resolution, resolution and more resolution? The way your pictures look? They look digital and that's all. There's no emotional power in digital photos. Just my 2 cents.

Hi, Travis. This is not fair: you did the Cloudy Lamp before I could get the same result though I have several unsuccesful attemps, almost sure more than your own unsuccesful ones.
I also have this thing about lamp posts and have some pictures worth viewing but in slides and my scanner can't work with them.
Congratulations anyhow . . .! and thanks for sharing.

"There's no emotional power in digital photos"I think hundreds of modern photojouralists may beg to differ.I'm glad you've said something REALLY,really ridiculous, now they might stop picking on me!

"They look digital and that's all. There's no emotional power in digital photos."I have NEVER heard such a pile of BS in all my life.

In all your life? Woh!! I'm glad to have stacked a pile of BS in your empty life

"There's no emotional power in digital photos"I disagree with this statement entirely, but would not disagree with a statement of "There's no emotional power in these photos" ... I also don't think shots from a Canon G1 have any place on this forum unless they are used as illustrations to explain something pertaining to leica photography. I can understand people talking about hexars, or voigtlanders... simply because they are rangefinders... but digital point and shoot cameras... com'on

sorry guys, for the commotion. As I have not got a new scanner yet, I could not scan any photos, or any leica photos to share.I just happened to have some digital photos to share and Canon happens to be my only digital photocamera.
I just wanted to share something, thats all. I dunno where else to share and what else to share for the moment.
Im sorry to have troubled those who clicked the link and didnt like it.
I am sorry I even took up space here according to some.
