15" english all purpose saddlegreenspun.com : LUSENET : barter board : One Thread |
Ok, since I kinda started folks in this direction, I will put something up here that I can trade:I have a 15" english all purpose saddle that still has a lot of miles left for trade. What do I want???? I want a toggenburg or LaMancha milk goat. I would prefer young doe that is bred or to the other extreme, one that is 3-4 years old. I would consider a kid if the lineage was good. I would pay boot for papers on the goat and need one that is CAE clean.
I have lots of tack for horses that I am clearing out and so if you need something and have something to trade - let me know. I will try to figure out how to post a pic of the saddle, but you can email me and I will send you a pic. Obviously I need someone close by to respond - Al, FL, TN, SC, or maybe NC?

Hi Cindy,I'm looking for a sand or cream colored saddle blanket- I prefer wool, or wool blend. It's for showing so it would have to be in good shape. Also, I'm looking for a horse sized, chestnut, breastplate- it doesn't need to have any martingale attachements.
What brand is the huntseat saddle? Saddles sell well on Ebay. I sold a Nice brand huntseat all purpose saddle a few years ago, and I bought a Henri De Rival saddle for DD right after selling the Nice.

Hi,This is not a name brand saddle, but is in really good shape considering the amount of riding my girls did. It has no tears in the leather and has been kept inside the house and well oiled and cleaned.
I have mostly martingales, both running and standing, some bridles without bits, lots of english reins, and some winter blankets. Most of the tack is in great shape. I wish I had a blanket for you Stacy. I have several sheets though...
I would sell the saddle outright for $75, but thought maybe someone had a goat too many they wanted to trade. I don't really want anything show quality, I want something loveable quality. So if she isn't quite up to snuff in the show ring that's certainly fine by me and I don't mind paying the difference in trade.
And Chuck, thanks for posting the pic. I use all sorts of computer programs everyday, but this internet thing just kills me. Guess by the end of the day I don't have the patience to learn something new..I will try though...
Thanks

Dear Cindy,I could use a pair or 2 of black english reins. Do you have any available, & if so what kind (braided, rubber, smooth, etc) and how much do you want for them? Please let me know. Thanks!

I don't have the black rubber reins, I do have braided tan or dark brown reins though. Sorry I couldn't help.
