Have received good replies to the trading of jams. I would love to try all. At the end of the jam session!!this summer lets do a swap. We will all send to each other the same size 1/2pint say of one jam to each and receive same. Do you guys think this will work???Debbie

I havent been involved in this thread, but I think it may be a good idea to label the jar with your name and address also , so if you find a jam you would rather not live without , you will remember who made it. happy " jamming " lol

sounds great, i'll have a list, because my wife is the jam lady. she made about 6 kinds last year and we're planting some new ones, that blueberry sounds real good.

I should have black berry (grown on my land- wild) and strawberry, perhaps peach if I can get my timing down better, last yr I missed peaches, the year before, I had GOBS. Now, how to mail so the jars wont break!? If any one has some maple syrup that they process, mmm.

Sounds good to me, too. So far as packing, I send jam/jelly to my friends - pack them in a sturdy box, with styrafoam pellets, or bubble wrap tightly, and newspaper crumpeled between jars, and have never had one broken. Think we should state if we prefer jam or jelly, or not matter? Should we email each one for their mailing address when we are ready to send ours?
