I have to tell y'all... my new boss is a lot like good ol' Napoleon. She is a crazy micro-manager. I have given her 5 drafts of the Annual Report, and she edits HER OWN WORDS over and over again and makes me make corrections to her corrections.

So sick of it. This thing will never get printed.

Why are there so many bad managers in the world? So frustrating.

But that's the worst. When things just keep getting changed and changed and never any better. Just edited to edit.

I had a dream last night that I was in hell with Buffy and Xander and Willow and I kept having to fight all these demons because Buffy couldn't keep her mouth shut about being the Slayer and I was really annoyed with her, because I was like shut-UP, I'm not a good fighter!

We just had our third meeting with the priest. He's a pretty cool priest - he was with Anderson Consulting for several years and then he decided that he'd rather be a priest.

Buffy will do that to you. Stupid demons. I'm sure you kicked their asses.

She definitely edits just to be editing. Because there's no other explanation for it. And something that's been in there for 4 drafts, suddenly HAS to be changed. She also comes in here every time and sits down and goes over every single mark she made on the page with me - like I can't read - and it takes FOREVER.

Like this: "Now, here I have marked through the word 'global' and written 'international' above it. What I mean there is, I think we should use the word 'international,' instead. Because the word 'international' means 'between nations,' and that is a better representation blah blah blah."

And I'm sitting there saying "OK. Yes. Fine. Uh huh. OK. OK! OK!!!!"

It makes me totally crazy.

I dreamed the other night that Jennifer Aniston was my roomate. She was really short.

Why is my life so boring? I don't even have news about being micro- managed.

H, do you take yoga classes? They have some right over by our house, and there's a backbending class I would love to try, but I'm kind of afraid.

Yeah, they have yoga classes at the work gym. It's power yoga, which I think is refered to as "ashtanga" in the Yoga world. You'll break a sweat and get a work-out in addition to getting all strong and flexible. Whereas the other kind of yoga is more about relaxing etc. I forget what it's called.

You're gymnastics State Champ. You'd kick backbending class ass.

H, I think that's one of the kinds this place offers. They have tons of different classes. You may have inspired me to sign up--because, you know, you really can't beat sweaty and stretchy.
