Alkit Cameras on Broadway at 23rd (or so) rents M. Their rates are posted on www.alkit.com.

Leica M body only is $35/day. 35 mm f/2 is $35/day. 50 mm f/2 is $25/day. (doesn't say exactly which lenses)

There are weekly rates, too.

I rented an M6, 35mm 2.0 and 75mm 1.4 from Tamarkin. Their rates are similar to the Alkit rates. What's nice, if you pick it up on a Friday and return it on Monday they only charge you for one day. And if you end up buying from them, they reduce the rental charge by 50%.
