I reside in the United States and am about to return to England after 30 years. My father was Eric Walter Bluett. My mother researched the Bluett family history in Devon. The family seat is at Holcomb Hall. I have a lot of writte material which I have to wade through which she left to me.

The Shackleton side of my family is another ancient name and I have a cousin doing a history on that side of the family.

Further to my posting of October 18th, I should have mentioned that I was born and brought up in West Derby, Liverpool. My father, Eric Walter Bluett was also born in Liverpool. I believe my grandmother's name was Mary Ann
