I don't know much about MV Agusta in Canada.I don't even know if is a dealer here in Canada.I will like to buy a used one in Europe and imported here,but how painful the proces will be?I heard that the bike must have a 17 digit VIN #,and suposed to be manufactured for the north American market(under the DOT and EPA regulations).Is that the case with MV's(used one) in Germany for example? In Europe they are built under european regulations (which are probably quite similar to dot). The type approval certificate no: e3*92/61*0024*00 The VIN has 17 digits. I know a dealer who is exporting MV's and other stuff (Ferrari's) to USA. He is located in Ingolstadt, Germany his name is Mayer. brgds Heinrich

Yea man. I am shopping for this bike in Italy, and they tell me that the only difference is a catilic canninster, MPH speedo, and reflectors on the sides by the turn signals. Although I can't see where they can put a catilic cannister!

This information doesn't sound very trustworthy. The digital speedometer is switchable from Km/h to MPH, so that is the same part and does NOT need to be changed. The US models do not have a headlight switch; that would need to me changed. The US models have a different part number for the headlight lens; that would also need to me changed. Importing one in to the US is non-trivial, and without Cagiva?s cooperation it is pretty much impossible. Canada may be more reasonable.
