Eyecup for SL???greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread |
Did Leica ever make a rubber eyecup for the SL body? If so, where can I get one used or new? I don't think the one for the SL2 or R series will fit, that's what I've been told anyway. Do you think I could order one if they make one from Leica? The reason I want one is I wear glasses and without one I'll ruin my glasses quickly. Anyway thanks for the your help.

I don't know if Leica made an eyecup for the SL but if they did Leica just might have one. Can't hurt to call Dave Ellwell at Leica USA and ask. However I own an SL, and it has never scratched my glasses. The eyepiece is smooth plastic, not the metal type on older M's.

The eyepiece does not scratch my glasses either as it is plastic. I think they did make an eyecup for it though.
