Thanks for all your positive responses on the M6 i've ordered(see below).I'll let you all know how I get on. BTW the 2.8 Elmar was not my 1st choice but the deal was hard to ignore!I may later change it for something faster,a 50mm summicron or 35mm asp.f2.Which one of these lenses gives a sharper image overall?

Hi steve. You may as well give the Elmar a good workout before you decide on anythig else, but if you end up choosing between those two Summicrons, I would'nt worry about the sharpness issue. They are both stunning in that regard. Best of luck.
