Boy-am I tired! Lil Dumplin came in tonite after bein gone all week. Just me and old Calvin batchin---SOMETHING had to be done before she showed up. Since Old Calvin is a cat-and lazy to boot-all that responsibility fell on the shoulders of this big old ugly hillbilly. I backed the old chevy 4 wheel pull pickup back to the back porch. Loaded all the trash onto it and burned it. Of course, I did't have all that trash out there all week. I shoveled out the house, swept, mopped, vacumed, cleaned the kitchen, gave away a BIG fish tank and done laundry. When Lil Dumplin came home [boy am I important!!] I told'r "wipe your shoes real good--I cleaned house!] It ain't very often that I get to boss'r around and she actually listen! Actually she was too tired to argue!!

Built chik'n noodles fer supper but she'd alread et at Corydon IN this even'n on the way home. After a day of rest tomorrow she'll be ok by Sunday mornin. Next week is her week off so if we can sell enough alum coke cans we just mite mosey over to Vincennes IND and have a "look see" at K-mart. I'm need'n a news fish'n pole and they mite have one real cheap.

Sposed to be cold here startin Sunday nite, I guess. I'm ready for spring and chompin at the bit for to build garden. Since I no longer eat beef or "dauuuuee-O-Poke" as the prisoners used to call pork, rekon I'll just plant chik'n breast bones. I'm tired of buyin Tyson's prepackaged junk and find it absolutely loaded with old bloody water, extra skin from ?? and somekind of unknown fat!

I know how you feel about getting into the garden, Its been nice here so I have been puttering in it, but just pulled a muscle in my leg and doc says it will be a month before its better.Oh well its getting cloudy so that should keep me from hobbleing out to it for at least a couple of days. Wondered if you were going to have to switch to chicken with your heart. Glad to see your taking care of yourself. Now your wife wont HAVE to hide the ax.
