I bought a Leica M6 TTL with a 50mm f2 Summicron here in UK (@19 feb 2002) and I've send away my papers for the passport tha same day.

At the time of purchase Leica UK was running a special offer: with every new M6 and lens they send you a SF20 and a large combination carrying case. Up until today no sign of passport or goodies through the post.

Does anybody of you now how long take for the passport to come through? And if anyone had free goodies from Leica with a similar offer, do they come together with the passport and how long it takes?

Here in the U.S., it's taken me as little as 1 or 2 weeks to get my passport materials & another week for a rebate check.

i got the "goodies" right from the shop the same day i bought my equipment. the uk-passport came around three weeks later. i'd call them!

I got a new lens on 24th January and still no sign of the Passport from Leica UK either. I wrote sending another copy of the receipt about three weeks ago, but still no reply.

It took 10 month for me to get my rebate here in the US.

I bought exactly the same gear on 22 Feb. The goodies and the passport came yesterday, 13 March. Also, I got an invite to a one day training course for free.

One annoying thing is that the bag will not fit the camera if you have a handgrip. But it is a nice bag.

BTW you do not get batteries with the flash. I got some in Maplins today for £4.99 each.
