Thank you!! Kennel traning worked!!!!!greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Thank you!!! I posted a post on here a few weeks ago about housebreaking my dog. He was the lasooposo(?) Beagel mix. Many of you said to try kennel traning and I did!! Two weeks later he is housebroken. I kept him in his kennel almost all the time except when we were someone was playing with him. We took him out as soon as he got out of his kennel and right before he went back in. He now scraches on the door when he needs to go out. I think my kitty taught him that one. That is what my Cat does when he needs to out. I just want to thank you all because I was really thinking I was going to have to get rid of him it was becoming such a problem.Thank you all Jennifer

Oh, Jennifer, I'm so glad you stuck with the training and it worked.Sometimes the hardest part of training is training the HUMAN.
Congratulations on your success. Hope you and your pet enjoy many happy years together.

we hang a string of bells from our doorknob. when nature calls our dog rings the bells by touching and moving them with her nose. it's a bit harder to hear a scratch.
