Well, the weatherman said it was supposed to drop back into the 70s yesterday afternoon and be cool and breezy today. NOT!!

Had to give up in the garden at 10:45am - I've had just too much sunburn and exposure this week and am feeling a little "tender tummy" from the heat.

Was 84 degrees on the weather station out the kitchen window!

We sure could use some of that moisture that inundated TN and KY this week, but the Weather Channel looks awfully dry our way.

It's 8:00 p.m. here on the coast of Maine. Snowing like gang-busters, but big wet flakes and it's almost 40 degrees. Supposed to get about 4" of snow, but by Monday it's supposed to be close to 50 degrees again! Fickle spring weather!! I can still remember the natives telling us when we moved to this state 25 yrs. ago..."If you can't take the winters, then you don't deserve the summers!"

I am convinced it is all my fault at I just got a well put in and had the plumbing done in a new wellhouse I had built out of salvaged materials but had not worried about getting it insulated untill fall. It is supposed to get down to 16 tomarrow night here in southwest missouri. Guess I will be using a lot of electricity as the only thing I can think of is to put in an electric heater and then watch the electic meter just go around and around.......gail

Oh good. I was afraid it was my fault, since I posted (on another board) how springlike everything felt la de da, and I was going to go in the next day or to and start getting all the old dead stuff out of the herb garden and so on. Cold, wind, snow, ever since! Me and MY big mouth.Sheesh!

I feel for you though, my dead herbs aren't in any danger of being ruined! Hang in there...

Spring my fanny!

Tuesday I was at home all day and it went to *90* on my back porch! My body is still in cool weather mode and NOT ready for this. In another month or so it'll feel normal like it does every year.

They're talking *maybe* a mind El Nino this year so perhaps our multi-year drought will break!
