I need to add a portrait lens, I would like to know which 90mm summicron (APO/non APO) or elmarit. Any suggestions on what I should look for?

The only one I know, use and own is 'Cron 90 Apo Asph. Wonderfull, very sharp (and sometimes may be "too"), very clear, brillant but ... heavy and with a DOF very small at closed distance wide open and here is a real problem for me now; I suppose I have to improve myself ;-) Alain

I would get the current 2.8/90 because it is small, light, handy, affordable, not "too sharp" and not unnecessarily speedy. If you have the time and money and profession, get the 75. Just look at all of Mike Dixon's chapters here !!!!!
