Leica repair in Hong Konggreenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread |
I saw a post a few weeks ago about someone having a good experience with a Leica repairer on Stanley St. in Hong Kong. I can't seem to find that post anymore, if someone could point me to it I'd appreciate it very much. Or even better if the original poster could give me an exact address to that repairer. BTW, if you're interested, my 50mm cron's apeture ring is broken, it turns way past the f16 and f2 mark, can nearly turn it 360 degrees. Anyone had this sort of experience? Thanks

Jonathan, here's the repairer you're looking for: Mr. Lee Cho Tat
Panda Camera-Repair Service
Penthouse, Double Building
22 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong
Tel: 2522 9905, 2522 9908
(the building's entrance is to the left of Luk Yu Teahouse [as you face it]; take lift to top floor and walk up two flights of stairs) You'll find Mr. Lee the nicest and the most honest camera repairer you can find anywhere in the world; in case you're wondering, we're not related.

Jonathan,You can also try Speed Camera Service Center in Jordan. Mr. Lee worked for Schmidt Leica Service in Hong Kong before he retired a few years ago. He is very good and so are his prices
