I looked in the archives, but to no avail. My R4 shutter quit working. The meter works fine. I changed the batteries and it still fails to trip the shutter. I set the body to 1/100 on manual and fired the shutter. Now the body works as it is supposed to. Is it normal to fire the shutter manually after changing the batteries to reset the circuits? Comments and suggestions?
