I would like to bring to attention a large catholic group called YOUTH 2000. Anyone heard of it as well?

It is a Eucharistic based evangalistic group for young people of all nations, set up origionally by a young man who was deeply moved by one of the Popes talks in Vatican City. He then went to set up YOUTH 2000 in order to use the young peoples strength,vitality and vision to evangalise this crumbling world.

retreats take place in different parts of the country very often and bring many back to their faith, strengthen others, and teaches and preaches the TRUTH!

AND NOW THE POPES IN TORONTO CANADA FOR THE NEXT WORLD YOUTH DAY. HORRAY FOR THE POPE!

And I will be going along with a few hundred thousand other youths from around the world.

If anyone here has been to any Youth 2000 retreats, I'd love to hear from you. (Youth 2000 have weekend retreats...EVERY WEEKEND, around the country, which are smaller in comparison to the the main retreat which takes place in WALSINGHAM, around AUGUST every year.)

"Evangelical" now days is by definition so far right as to be indistuingishable from the Tahliban. Goals as much the same.

Hi, I've just got back from my secong retreat, Walsingham. My first was at a school in Newcastle over a weekend earlier in the year. Both were Youth 2000 retreats. I thoroughly enjoyed them both and am planning to return to Walsingham next year. If anybody has not been before I highly recommend that you go next year as it is an amazing experience. Lanie*

although i myself have not been able to take part on such retreats i am part of the impact youth group this deals with small groups of the youth 2000 team . I have been informed by people in my group of how successful walsingham retreats and others retreats organised by youth 2000 really are get involved and have a go you never know you may enjoy it !!!!!!!! luv Hayls
