correct, passport warranties are not tranferable once they are registered (if I understand things correctly) I never sent in/registered this camera, thus it shouldn't be any problem) cheers,

If you got a rebate on it, Leica knows it's been sold and they will not allow someone else to register the Passport. Had it happen on a lens I bought.
