Found some mushrooms, "Mica Caps" in the yard. They are part of the inky family. Anyone ever eat them? I tries 2 small ones to try before I let my family eat them. The book I have said they were edible.

It might have been coincidental but last night I had an "exceptional" bowel movement. Didn't know if I should eat only small ones before gills turn black or are older/bigger ones OK?

I don't know about Mica caps but generally inky cap types are best before the gills turn black. Never drink alcohol when eating wild mushrooms. I doubt if your movement was coincidental.
