I'm really, really new to this posting board, but I've followed Aeon Flux as best as I can since two or three years. It is great to see that people just don't forget about such a great show!

As of me, I could say without a doubt that I'm the biggest (and maybe the only) Costa Rican Aeon Flux fan! None of the people I know thinks of the show the way many of us do. That is, of course, because Latin American audiences are more open to (and given with, tough) regular multi-season series and “blockbuster” movies, which is not so bad (I personally enjoy watching “Buffy”, “Farscape” or “24”), but Aeon Flux has been a very few times on MTV-Latin America and it's been aired at 11:30pm, so many people could be watching or something at HBO or Costa Rica's local channels rather than see a front line, radical, unusual–looking animated series (that’s a compliment, I swear).

Just to say to Mr. Chung, if he's reading this post, that Aeon Flux has touched people (at least one) in places he could possibly didn't know the show was even aired. And although the series air time was relatively short, it just demonstrates that little packages can hold huge things.

And to Mr. Chung about the e-mail addresses:

I really hope you actually look regularly to this board, just to know how many people enjoy the quality of your great work!

Do you mean Aeon Flux has been on Mtv over there recently, or is this in the past? ('95 to 98 or so is when it was on in the U.S.). Speak up anytime. Cyberspace has no rules, only writes.

As far as I know, it has been aired in Costa Rica since 1997, but on a very non-regular basis. That is, the ten episodes for 3rd season are aired once, then again, and that's all at least for a whole year, so you have to be very Aeon-Fluxed to catch it when it airs again. Yeah, I know, it sounds a little pathetic.
