Thomas Krantz was inquiring about Leica thread mount compartment cases. I have one, but I don't know what name it would go by. The case is dark brown leather, 10-3/4 inches by 12-1/4 inches and about 3-1/4 inches deep. The cover is embossed with Leitz and Leica in script. The case is fitted for a Leica IIIC or similar body with a lens, four additional lenses, and a number of accessories. There are fitted compartments for an Imararect viewfinder, two brightline finders, and a flashgun with a folding reflector. There are nine slots for filters or adapter rings, five compartment for 35mm film containers - a plastic Kodak or Fugi film container fits perfectly, and other fitted compartments for various accessories. A card in a pocket inside the lid has line drawings of a camera, lenses and accessories but they aren't labeled so I'm not sure what everything is. At the bottom, the card reads "Ernst Leitz GMBH Wetzlar 3653." I have a Leica IIIC with a 50/3.5 red scale Elmar, a 35/3.5 Elmar and a 90/4 Elmar and an Imarect viewfinder, and everthing fits perfectly. The case is boxy and while it has a carrying strap, it wouldn't be comfortable carrying it like a camera bag. It is extemely well made - everything fits perfectly but with just enough slack to remove items easily. The interior is covered with a tan, fine-grain, leather-like material. It may be leather, but nothing is worn enough to be sure. I don't have a scanner, so I can't submit photos. My wife bought it at a yard sale about 15 years ago for $2.
