Grizz is that where you get your name from? Poor Grizz! So sorry to hear you got tangled up in that. Could you at least get a nap in this afternoon?

By the way, did you ever find a laptop? Last time you were online you had asked about lap tops. Just curious!

Grizz, I don't know what your price range is but, a new Dell laptop is about $900. That is what I had a work and I really liked it.

Wasn't it a trip to be really young and protesting? I remember marching on the capitol. Sharing whatever you had for food with strangers. Sleeping wherever you fell down. Trusting other long hairs. Distrusting anything in uniform or a haircut. Wearing beads, headbands and bell bottoms. Partying all night. Loud music. Shocking the old folks (establishment). Disturbing the peace in general. Making love not war. I think it's a "rite of passage". Making our point. GOTTA LOVE THIS COUNTRY. I just stay out of their way nowadays. They (youngins nowadays) don't believe I was ever like that anyhoo. Besides, I don't like it now either. The bones hurt after sleeping on the ground. LOL.

Ahhh Susan, I remember those days too. We had Peace at Pittsburg rally(Kansas) and later on a Free Lt. Calley rally at Coffeyville. Half the "hippies" in Coffeyville had been to Viet Nam, the other half trying hard not to go. We were all friends and had known each other for years. There were some California hippies that moved into town. They sure taught us a lot and we helped them too. We thought the war was all wrong, but not the boys that had to go over there, for whatever reason they went. It is so wonderful to live in a country that gives you the right to object to what is going on, as most people in this world do not have that freedom of speech. It was great to be young and idealistic, but it is nice to be older and hopefully wiser too.
