The Silent Destroyer is not much over 2 feet tall, about 2 1/2 year old and quiet as a church mouse. Ashton is the precious little girls name--the niece of our DIL and Son. She very quietly walks through the house "doin her thing" with the toys! It's just too comical to have anybody stop her. After all, she IS on the job-doin what little dudettes do. Toy playin can be hard work ya'll know!!When was the last time ya'll set and watched a little one at work? No need to disturb'm any--if ya'll do then it's ya'lls loss. God put those little ones here for us to enjoy. I'm sure He enjoys'm too! In fact I believe He had something to say about "suffer not the little children to come unto me"-didn't He? How about ---It would be better to have a millstone hung around your neck---for harming a little one----!
We should all be so thankful for the blessings of havin these precious minature humans around us. To God be all the Honor Praise and Glory! old hoot. Matt.24:44

You are so right, Old Hoot. Enjoy them while you can, they grow up too fast and become adults far away with busy lives.

Hoot, my little granddaughter (age 3) is so much fun to watch! Her off-hand comments while she's playing are a riot and it is so precious listening to her make up her own "praise and worship" songs as she plays. One day last year (when Becca was still 2) my husband came in from chores shortly after she had arrived at our house. The house looked like a war zone and he had to pick his way carefully through the toys and trail of destruction on his way to the living room, where he greeted her and asked her how she was doing. She looked up and replied, "I'm doing two....that's my job."

Thank you for reminding me yet again of how precious these little ones are. too often in the rush of the day we forget to let our little ones just play-worse, we forget to watch and enjoy them. my four have many times filled an otherwise lousy day with laughter with one of their stunts or comments. God bless.

I watch two of them every day. Adorable little boys that think like tornados!! Their favorite pastime for the last couple of weeks is tearing off the couch cushions and jumping up and down on the couch. I can't imagine not having them around although every once in a while I'm remined of something Gallagher said, "you know why God made babies so cute-so you don't kill em!"(and no I've never thought like that about mine)

Grandpa Hoot! I know exactly what you are talking about as we have a 4 year old son. Some of the things he says & does is so funny. On the flip side, he can be so bad and nasty (red hair is an indicator of temper!). I guess we have to take the good with the bad. Of course you grandparents can spoil your precious grandchildren so much, but then give back to the parents. Of course I know you & Lil Dumplin wouldn't spoil your grandchild, now would ya?!?
