Im going to Japan for the first 2 weeks to do some pics for a couple of mags. The trouble is I have been let down and now need to find someones floor to sleep on preferably in Tokyo... Does anyone know or can suggest somewhere? If there are any photographers based in Tokyo who can help that would be really useful!

This probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but when I was in Tokyo I stayed at the Asia Center of Japan. It is kind of a hostel but it is really cheap. There is a sign asking one to "Kindly refrain from demanding room service" though.
