Not for Texas and Ford Mustang Fans only - Critique please

Hello everybody

This is another great experience in the heart of Texas. A friend of mine lend me his beloved Ford Mustang 1965 modell to discover the Texas Hill Country with it. I really loved it: The car and the Texas Hill Country. A great experience for a Swiss alpine boy like me.

michael, sorry to say, these frames don't do much for me. the lighting is poor and the composition ad hoc. your subject matter is cool itself, so why don't you try shooting at magic hour, when day is just giving way to night and metal glows. rev up! you'll get better.

Everything looks to be a stop underexposed.

Hi, Michael:

One more guy to say your pictures are under exposed. Which is somewhat extrange because the exposure meter in your camera is said to be a very accurate one. Were you looking for some special effect or did you under expose the photos on purpose for some reason?

On the other hand, cars are one of the classic photo subjects (in America, at least . . .) and the Mustang is an interesting car to shoot because of its shape and details. A lens longer than 35mm would be needed to isolate details and to take full advantage of the graphic qualities of this subject I think, but a less naïve composition would have been of great help in this case.

Preferred photo: the one in front of the flags. Good combination of colours though under exposed too.

Regards, Michael, and thaks for sharing.
