I don't think there was a hospital mix up !! I remember my oldest daughter...I would read to her and she would pick actual words out and say them. Was so worried she wouldn't pass the kindergarten test that she knew her alphabet and wrote her name and address and her numbers. By the time the second one was on her way I was just glad she knew how to say her name !!! Perhaps with having the older children she has learned from them. But I really think patience is the best teacher. The book Hard Times In Paradise by David and Micki Colgax is a good book about a family homesteading and homeschooling. They say they never really taught their children...they just learned by themselves !! Kids are smart...just keep doing what you are doing. It seems to be working !!!

Good for her! Get her lots of good stuff to read and let her have at it. She sounds like she wants to learn so don't hold her back. She is lucky to have a mom who works with her so young. :o)

Different interests for differents children. You must be a super mom and that gives children a head start to develope their interests. keep up the good work and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

She loves helping with chores too .I am only hoping this year to teach her the difference between the good plants that stay and the weeds which go ! Last yea I had to replant hundeds of veggie plants cause everything was a weed .LOl it was still fun for a while.
