Yesterday morning while in the kitchen, as usual I was checking out the goats while cooking breakfast. My darling Shasta, my favorite milker was laying chewing her cud and our 2 three month old Great Py puppies were laying across her back, one facing one way and the other the other way. They were just laying there Shasta didn't seem to mind at all. It was so cute , wish I had a picture. I've seen the kids lay on Blossom, the pups mother. I guess this baby sitting thing goes both ways. Have a nice day

That IS cute. What a gift to see that. My husband always complains about my dogs. It's been going on for years. He is worried they will kill my chickens. Let me tell you, the one, a two year old mix breed who will kill a rabbit in a second, SLEEPS with the oldest hen I have. I guess O'l Henny Hen feels safe with my dog Chief. Come to think of it I need a pic before Henny gets old and dies. I always tell him that I doubt that a dog who will sleep with a chicken will kill one! lol
