Hallo Kaj, Your first question is the hardest, what is realy nice condition ? It think it is worth about $600 - $700 range. It must be a 8 lens version which is the first version. I also have one of these and I like it a lot, it can be used with good results at f2 but at 5.6 and 8 it is at its best. Make sure the eyes are in position, I would advise to check it on your camera and see if your rangefinder is not out of alignment. It will also work on a M6 but I would advise that lens only for the M3. In a M6 (and every other M camera) you will see the 50mm frame which gives you the 35mm image. On a M3 you need that, on other M's not. The problem is that your finder will not be as bright as it is without the eyes and it has more flare. Good luck, Frederik

The goggels are usually full of fog and are a real pain (expensive) to get cleaned correctly. If you don't have them cleaned, the view through the finder is washed out and flares like crazy. There is no way I would want to use a 35mm lens with goggles on the M6.

Kaj: I have a 35 f:3.5 RF Summaron. This is the 35 with the goggles also. The lens brings up the 50mm frame, which it should, as the goggles change the magnification to what is required for the 35mm lens. I do not use the lens much as it is very awkward to store, as well as heavy. I have gotten some nice shots with it, and I used it on my M6 until I purchased a 28E. As previous posters commented on, check the goggles for fogging or decementing. Also look for fogging in the lens. They can be cleaned, but not very economically.

The chrome 35/2 RF lens were made in Canada and Wetzlar and would all be first generation (8-element lenses). An E++/near mint example would probably cost close to $ 900 or so, as collectors like these lenses. The 35/2 RF lens was catalogued until the mid- 1970s, and I believe there are also balck anodized second version types (6- element) as well as balck paint first version lenses (the latter are very rare). This lens can be used on the original M6, but I don't know about the M6-TTL or M7 which has a 2mm taller body height.
