I just recently came into an M2 and have found a few things wrong mainly with the shutter Ive been told soem of the higher speeds around 250 are a little off and some of the slower speeds around a full second will ocasionaly through a "flier". This is what I was told but have not had a chance to get it checked out my self.

What do you think I'm going to have to pay in repairs?

Your M2 probably needs a CLA, and repair work on the shutter. The cost: $150 and above depending on the work necessary. Leica USA in NJ charges a minimum of US$300 for a CLA.

I would send it to Sherry Krauter. She recently gave my M2 a CLA and it has become my favorite shooter. Sherry has an excellent track record, good prices and resonable turnaround times.
