I have a Grist Mill that has no patent numbers. ( the lady I purchased it from said it is a tortilla machine). It grinds the grain for makeing tortillas. It does say Pereyra Mills, 740 Castro St. San Francisco. I would love any information you can find on the date this company was in business. Thamks

That's a curious address. 740 Castro was the home of Charles Hinkel one of the city's leading 19th century builders. He built the house and lived there in 1894. The house is still a residence.Good luck in your research.
