The M4-2, as everybody knows, is a camera with many variations. I have a M4-2 n. 1504xxx (1977/78 third series from 1504001 to 1506000) that has the lensmount bayonet lock with a red dot in the middle (like M4-P, M5, M6 non TTL) and not like the first series (M1, M2, M3, M4). I have saw, after investigations, that only in the last series it was used. Can somebody give me informations about it? Another question: in wich series was abandoned the "C" seal on the camera? Thanks

My M4-2 is in the 3rd series, and when I got it, it had the C seal inteact. Now it has a K seal. Also, it has the chrome screw in the lens release.
