We'll have an informal O' practice at Bonner Park on Thursday (May 30) at 6 p.m.

The training will be on a new map.

BY WEDNESDAY, YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING. I need to print maps and I'll only print a map if you let me know your coming. Post a note here or send an email to meglin@juno.com to let me know you're coming.

Bonner Park is west of the Kansas Speedway and next to the Sandstone Ampitheater. We'll start at the parking lot for shelter F. The parking area for shelter F is about 400 meters south of the intersection of 126th and State.

The training will be park orienteering. You won't need to go in the woods. Running shoes and shorts will work fine (though depending on the weather there might be a few muddy spots).

Fritz picked up the course from my office and ran it this morning. He smoked the course in 36:30. Will that time stand as the fastest?

Gene, Mike S and I ran the course. I think Gene beat Fritz, but Mike has the official results. A great course on a nice map. We should do it again sometime!

I am sorry I missed another training outing. Maybe I will try to get the map. I still fighting off being sick but maybe I will up for the next one.

We'll use the same map again sometime during June (perhaps as part of an informal 3-day Park O' event June 21-23?).

We may also have a July night O' session as a tune up for anyone going to the Night O' Champs in Wyoming.
