As I mentioned in a previous thread I am helping a friend, George lauterstein, find homes for some of his vast collection of mint or minty Leica cameras.

He bought only perfect cameras in the best cosmetic and operational status possible. I'm using an early model III that is georgous! The prices are higher than junk models due to the very high quality. You really won't need to have any repairs done on these!

I have two camera kits I want to offer here before trying eBay.

1. A wartime Leica IIIC (395264) with perfect chrome with no dings, dents, birght spots, or scratches. All camera functions operate flawlessly. The shutter curtain looks as new. It comes with an equally fine coated Summitar 50mm f/2 lens and yellow filter. Very bright viewfinder and good contrast in rangefinder. Includes fine cap. The price is $700.

2. Early postwar IIIC with excellent perfect chrome (410695) in totally perfect condition except from a semicircular mark on base from a tripod. This unit has a factor installed X sync flash PC terminal on the back and syncs perfectly at 1/30 sec. This put it close to a IIIF unit. This camera comes with one of the most beautiful 50mm f/2 SUMMICRON lenses I have ever seen including cap and yellow Heliopan filter. Don't pass this up. The lens alone is worth more than $500 in this condition. It is fullyully coated. I have used this camera over the past few weeks with stunning results. Price $800.

Please remember: these are NOT "junkers" and are a part of a mint/minty collection fo cameras.

The IIIC w/ Summicron is no longer available.

The IIIC Wartime unit with fully coated Summitar, yellow filter and cap, is available. Beautiful camera.

I also have a really sweet Leica III with an f/3.5 Elmar with cap. The Chrome and leather is beautiful. Works perfectly. $450

I have photos available for all three cameras. The Summicron unit is available if someone really wants it, but I was going to keep it for myself. If you truly want it, I will sell it. It's beautiful.
