I am thinking of selling my NIB replacement M7 that Leica is sending. Anyone know what I could get for it? I hate using eBay to sell. Hey, maybe someone here wants it?

I don't know about the value, but if there is a buyer in your town, you could leave the package unopened (as sent to you by Leica in their packaging) until you meet them, and *then* open it together, so that they are assured that it is indeed a NIB Leica. This could enhance your asking price. Otherwise they are better off buying directly from Leica.

As the passport warranty is not tranferable, I think $2000US is about right for a private sale.

John. I don't see why the passport warranty should not be transferable. I know of past examples where the remaining unexpired passport (in this case the full three years) was transferred from one owner to another. Unless the situation has changed, I think Leica USA would honor that, but the dealer should know for sure.
