It happens !!!! __ If the robber pull his gun , and just shoot to the police ; immidiately , automatic , the police will react , they shoot back , they hit him , the robber drops dead !!!!

What's the catholic view on thisone , is it allowed to kill this robber because of self-defence !!!!

Of course the taking of life is permissable in defense of self or another. This has been the constant teaching of the Church.

Hello, Mr. Lug.

Yes, Mr. Lug everyone has a right to defend theirselves. The Holy Father has spoken about this in 1995. I rember reading about this.

The intrinsic value of life and the duty to love oneself no less than others are the basics of a true right to self defense. This can not only be a right but a grave duty for someone that is responsible for anothers life. Unfortunately, it happens the need to take the agressor's life sometimes as Our Holy Father has explained.

May the Lord bless you Mr. Lug, and give you the Grace to come home where you belong, with us, in the Holy Catholic Church.
