I am interested in any information of the CofGa RR agents who founded the city of McIntyre, Georgia and served as agents there. I beleive they were originally from Pennsylvania, John or James and Sarah McIntyre. They were agents during Sherman's March to the Sea. The town was established in the early 1800's in Wilkinson County, Ga. I grew up in the McIntyre home on the hill above the depot. If any one has anything on this period of history concerning the agents or the rails, I look forward to hearing from you.
