I'm not sure if anybody but Floridians pay attention to this sort of thing, but if you do in fact pay attention to The Weather Channel you will likely have seen Florida covered in green the past couple of weeks. We are just over 14 inches of rain in about the same number of days, thus explaining so many Deedah posts. (I work outside) Makes the grass nice and green though.

Also, I see that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant, no, not the hollywood J Lo, the Weather Channel Jennifer Lopez. Those gals really pump out the kids, don't they? Sharon Resultan has had at least two that I recall, and about all the others have had at least one. Well, I don't recall Vivian Brown being preggers, nor Heather Tesch. I don't expect Paul Goodloe to get pregnant, but what do I know.

Any other Weather Channel junkies here?

Don't have access to cable, but I watch in when I travel. Someday I will have to get a dish.

I just checked my station read-out on the server [it runs on a Dell so windows machines are good for something ;<))]. It says we have had 43 inches of moisture as of today. Twenty three in May and 11 in June. It hasn't rained in 6 days here. It isn't supposed to start again until Monday [according to the local forecasters]. Then again, I just looked out to the east; there is a massive thunderhead forming [must be up to 50 or 60 thousand feet]. These things happen when the temperature is 84 F and the dew point is 83 F.

Now, I would never suggest that the local TV news people could make a mistake.

Don't watch TV much anymore unk. Now, weather.com, yes! We have had 84 days WITHOUT measurable rain, none predicted for at least two more weeks, and the forests are burning uncontrolably up north I am sad to say. A month ago, we saw 35,000 acres burned in the Bullock fire on my beloved Mt Lemmon. Too bad we can't swap some of that moisture to the parched western states. Here, we can only pray for a heavy monsoon season with cannot come too soon. Time for some serious raindancing!

Yeppers, another gray day here at the Cape, Lord knows we need the rain to replenish the water table but the lack of Beta rays is startin' to bum moi out. Well, I guess it's nothin a lil tequilla can't cure.

From the looks of the map we might have another week of it, at least it ain't snow : )
